The cot's side panel sliding can be raised and lowered with the press of the button, making it easy to reach in and soothe a crying infant in the night. It has 11 height adjustments to fit nearly any mattress size, and adjustable folding feet to ensure that it's at the right level.
In terms of safety the cot is padded and comes with mesh sides to provide more ventilation, while its mattress is made of high-density foam for extra protection. It can also be cleaned and you can keep the crib clean. It is fitted with a bed sheet that is suitable for a crib.
Contrary to other cribs that are bedside, the Roomie Glide is suitable for the majority of beds, including divans, thanks to its straps and clip attachment. It can be used as a standalone crib if it isn't connected to the bed. It comes with a variety of amazing features that were designed with baby and parent bonding in mind.
The most important thing to keep in mind is that even though this crib is perfect for infants, it will not last long once your child is six months old, so you will need to invest in an additional cot. Overall, Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide crib was an excellent purchase. She liked its sleek design.
The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna thought was an affordable price for a cot with the most advanced features. She also liked the way it was positioned in the bedroom, and believed that its grey colour would suit most modern homes. However, she pointed that it's not a great idea to rock a smaller baby, as it can create a bad habit for later sleep patterns.
The Tutti Bambini CoZee
The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to give you the best sleep possible. It has a drop side rail that is easily lowered to feed your baby at night without having to wake your child or get them out of bed it's ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It's also light, making it easy to move around the house during nap time and for travelling.
It's made of soft materials and features mesh sides that are breathable to help promote airflow. It is available in oak or charcoal with a variety of melange fabrics that blend with most decor styles. Anna found that it was sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs snapped into place and the zippers were secure for safety. It took Anna approximately 10 minutes to put together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer service number should you have any problems.
As well as the usual features you'd expect from a crib for your bed such as the ability to connect to your existing bed with a stay-in place connection system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option that can be used to help ease reflux or congestion in infants. It can also be washed in the machine essential for all the dribbles, vomit, and snot that come with a newborn baby!
The CoZee is an excellent choice for keeping your child close during the first six months of acquiring the ability to sleep independently. It can be used as a changing station, cot or toddler bed. It can also be transformed into a sofa bed by the addition of an extension pack. Although it can't magically make your baby sleep or feed them, it will rock the baby and take them to school.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco’s more expensive options. However, it has numerous great features. It's designed to function as an individual side sleeper or standalone crib, and is suitable from birth up to six months. It has a new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel. It's easy to operate, even for one-handed operation. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings and retractable legs for a secure place under any bed.
Continue Reading loved the easy access the side panel provides, which can be moved up and down at the touch of a button. This was particularly useful in the evening when feeding time was over, since they could reach inside and pick up their baby without disturbing them up.
The side panel can be lowered on its own however it isn't advised as it increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism guarantees that it can only remain in place if it is connected to the bed of the parent correctly. This is a great feature to have in place for peace of mind, particularly in the case of breastfeeding and frequent feedings at night.

Telescopic legs enable the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases as well as beds with drawers. It also has a tilting function to help babies who are refluxy and a rocking feature to soothe them back to sleep after eating. It's also very spacious and offers excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our testers even with the lengthy instruction manual. It's heavier than other side-sleepers, however it's fairly portable and can be moved from room to room with ease. It's small enough to be able to fit into a travel bag when not in use, which is an advantage if you need to transport it. The only issue our test subjects found was that the side panel did not flex as much compared to other models. This made it a bit harder to observe your baby from the bed.

The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is a great choice for a crib that can grow with your child. Designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that is attached to your bed but also transform into a stylish cot once your baby is ready, it's ideal for feeding your baby at night and for strengthening your bond with your baby.
In contrast to other models of bedside cribs The Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. The dual-view mesh side panels and airflow mattress that is hypoallergenic and breathable maximize airflow and keep your baby comfortable and cool. The gentle slope can help reduce colic and reflux. The zip-down side allows you to feed your baby or soothe them during the night.
The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you require to get started. It took us around an hour to put together and was reasonably straightforward. The only drawback to the instructions was that a few pictures did not have captions. This made it difficult to follow. Overall, the process was simple and the materials used were of top quality.
In co-sleeping mode we discovered the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent choice for breastfeeding mums and women who have had a C-section, as it allows them to easily reach out to their baby for feeding and comfort without having to climb out of their bed. It's great for parents who do not want to go through the burden of putting their infant in a traditional cot or getting out of it.
The motion of gliding was found to be extremely helpful in lulling babies into sleep after feedings at night or midday. The drop-down side is also accessible to feed or calm babies in the middle of the night, which was a real benefit for our exhausted test mums. The Joie Roomie Glide is a modern and stylish crib that isn't rocking, nor does it come with extra features like an audio system.
